Ich bin gerade in der Hölle und Stelle fest, daß ich dem SCSII-Irenicus gegenüberstehe. Da meine Gruppe eher um Level 16 herum ist, habe ich keine Lust, da jetzt Tagelang herumzuprobieren, weil ich diesen echt schweren Kampf auch mehr versehentlich installiert habe. Meine Frage ist nun, ob ich einzelne SCSII-Komponenten deinstallieren kann. Außerdem habe ich bemerkt, daß da einige andere Bosse nochmal verbessert wurden und weiß nicht, ob das so mein Fall ist. Hab TOB noch nie gespielt und merke immer mehr, daß mir zuviele Mods den Spaß versauen. Leider habe ich wohl die letzte BWP-Version erwischt, wo man noch keine einzelnen Modkomponenten wählen konnte und habe entsprechend auch unerwünschtes dabei. Meine WeiDu:

Es scheint ansonsten also in meinem Falle nach dem Irenicus mit Drachen, Beholder etc. der normale Irenicus mit den Dämonen und dann kein Duell mit HC zu kommen, wie ich das sehe? Nur daß er etwas bessere AI als sonst hat. Ich könnte also alternativ auch die erste Runde StrgYpsen und hätte dann immer noch einen fast-vanilla Kampf.

Das Problem mit der Deinstallation ist folgendes: Weidu interessiert nicht, was die jeweilige Komponente macht, sondern deinstalliert erstmal alles, was NACH der ausgesuchten Komponente installiert wurde. Und das ist schon ne Menge, unter anderem eben auch das Biffing. Wenn dann mitsamt der zu entfernenden Komponente alles weggemacht wurde werden die anderen Teile wieder aufgespielt. Und da kommt es dann zu den meisten Problemchen, weil die Deinstallationen ggf. nicht sauber sind - vielleicht wurden Dummyfiles nicht gelöscht oder ähnliches. Mit anderen Worten: Die Wahrscheinlichkeit, dass du dir alles zerschießt, ist hoch.

Wo ich gerade Ascalon da habe, gibt es irgendeine Chance, eine komplette neue Installation zu machen und mit meiner jetzigen Truppe inklusive Breagar dann bei TOB weiterzumachen, wenn ich jetzt BG2 erledigt habe?

Übrigens habe ich auch eine Sicherheitskopie der jetzigen Installation und würde es vielleicht auf einen Versuch ankommen lassen, wenn ich also doch einzelne Komponenten ändern wollte, wie müsste ich vorgehen?

Du müsstest dir das Handbuch zur MegaModInstallation hernehmen, das Expertenkapitel suchen und dann die Installation rückwärts einzeln und Schritt für Schritt durchführen. Schaust dir eben an, welche Mods du drauf hast und lässt das weg, was bei dir nicht dabei ist und arbeitest dich dann so weit bis zu der Komponente vor, die du ändern willst. D.h., jede setup.exe der aufgeführten Mods starten, die aufgeführt sind und dort munell De-Installationen vornehmen.

Danach alles wiederholen und die Komponenten wieder in der Reihenfolge laut Anleitung manuell installieren.

heißt für dich: eine mehr als lange Nacht, drei Kannen Kaffee und dabei viel Spass, wo schon ein Fehler oder geschlossenes Fenster reicht, um alles zu versauen.

Spätestens hier muss du abwägen, ob eine neue Gesamtmegamod-Installation nicht doch zielführender bzw. in dem Fall Zeit und Nerven sparender ist.

Du könntest dir überlegen, deinen HC zu exportieren, neuzuinstallieren und den HC dann zu reimportieren (vor der Neuinstallation exportierte Cahraktere sichern). Um die Party auf den gleichen Stand zu bringen, könntest du sie dann per Shadow Keeper anpassen und dir außerdem die entsprechenden Gegenstände holen. Allerdings weiß ich nicht, ob das mit Breagar auch funktioniert.

Wieder: wie siehts aus mit Savegame importieren? Das hilft jetzt nicht unbedingt, wenn man weitere SCSII Komponenten loswerden möchte, aber diesen speziellen Kampf sollte man damit eigentlich ohne Probleme überspringen können?
Halte ich für wesentlich unkomplizierter als nen Export, Neuinstallation, komplexes Rumgewurschtel mit Editoren, blablubb und dann hoffen, dass es klappt. Natürlich hab ich keine Ahnung ob das beim BWP denn wirklich so reibungslos geht, wie ichs mir vorstelle.

Hi, Ich hoffe es stört nicht wenn ich in diesen älteren Artikel noch was dazuschreibe.
Ich habe keine Tactik Mod's installiert(hoffe ich).
Vor ein paar Tagen stand ich dann vor Irenikus mit seinen 4 Dämonen aber böser KI!

Es hat mich einige Anläufe gekostet bis ich es geschafft hab;). (sogar 3 Mal geschafft, weil ich danach nicht speichern durfte und so 2 Mal in ein dead end gelaufen bin) Ich empfehle Keinem die Feier danach durch die Türe zu verlassen!->Es startet der nächste Teil von TDD und geht man wieder rein sind alle durch ne Hintertür verschwunden! Auch sollte man Im Fischerdorf angekommen NICHT sofort auf Q hämmern und das Spiel verlassen weil man in Eile ist, sondern erst das Gespräch abwarten!->sonst steht man nach dem Laden ohne Gespräch und Gegnern ganz allein da!

Nach diesen Warnungen beschreibe ich mal den Kampf und würde mich freuen wenn Jemand eine Hilfestellung parat hätte:
Ich habe im Vorfeld schon Fallen ausgelegt und rechts vor eine Statue Schwerter, Deva und Sonstiges gestellt(so werden sie nicht am Anfang weggepustet). Schutzzauber nur was länger hält(Heldemmal, Steinhäute..)
Die 2 Balore sind Futter für zwischendurch! Die 2 Gabredings selbst tun Niemandem weh, können aber meine Leute betäuben(Irenikus hackt sie dann in Stücke:mad:) und wenn man Pech hat werden sie kurz vor ihren Tod Ätherisch(gibt es da irgendein Mittel gegen?:confused:). Mit etwas Glück und Wirbelwinden sind aber auch die in den ersten Sekunden tod!
Aber Irenikus!: Ist mit Fallen nicht zu töten(wäre auch blöd weil dann kein Gespräch kommen würde)
Macht dutzende Zauber gleichzeitig(Schutz gegen Magie, magischen Waffen und sonstiges(Hast, Unsichtbarkeit...)
UND jetzt mein Problem! Schutz vor Erkenntnisszaubern + Bannzaubern! (dachte nicht das man 2 solche Zauber gleichzeitig aktiv haben kann)
Ich kann die Unsichtbarkeit nicht bannen und ihn deshalb nicht anwählen.
Alle Bannzauber die einen Radius haben wirken auch nicht(Schutz vor Bannzaubern halt)!
Mit Flächenzaubern war auch nix zu machen(Magieresistenz) und das Senken ebendieser war ja auch nicht möglich!
Am Anfang hat man sich mit den Fallen einen kurzen Moment Ruhe verschafft weil er sich erstmal heilt. Dann kommen direkt hintereinander 2 Zeitstops, die 100% tödlich für das Opfer sind(bei SvmW sucht er sich den nächsten).
Meine Taktik: Dämonen töten und Wegrennen(Beschwörungen zur Ablenkung nutzen) und dann am laufenden Band Beschwören bis seine Schutzzauber nachlassen!:o
:grmpf:Gibt es da eine Gegenmaßnahme oder hat man die Wahl zwischen Wegrennen und Faustkampf?

P.S. Ich spiele meist auf Schwer und lasse Niemanden sterben(finde ich vor allem in der Hölle nicht OK

Kombinierter Notfall, Quickslotitems (Schriftrollen, Zauberschlagstäbe), Insektenzauber (Magieresistenz), Glitzerstaub (Magieresistenz) und Heiliges Wort (Magieresistenz) kann man direkt oder indirekt auf unsichtbare Ziele anwenden. Am besten wären die ersten beiden Möglichkeiten, um die Immunitäten loszuwerden, Glitzerstaub ist eine der Alternativen gegen Unsichtbarkeit. Insekten und Heiliges Wort sind praktisch, um weitere Zauber zu verhindern oder zu erschweren. Man kanns aber auch mit Zaubern versuchen, die Magieresistenz ignorieren, z.B. Feuersturm. Das reicht zum stören.

Da hab ich ja mal wieder einige Zauber mehr zum Ausprobieren.
Komisch das man Quickslot-Items auf unsichtbare Gegener anwenden kann, aber mir soll es Recht sein. Glitzerstaub und Heiliges Wort sind super, wäre ich nie drauf gekommen^^. Kombinierten Notfall finde ich immer so schwer planbar, der geht entweder schon vor dem Kampf los oder wenn der/die Magier(in) grade stirbt^^

Du kannst Notfälle auch im Kampf benutzen. Das zählt nicht mal zur Beschränkung auf einen Zauber pro Runde und macht es sehr einfach den Gegner mit verschiedensten Zaubern zuzuspammen.
