Erstmal die DEBUG von Brandock bitte in einem Spoiler, nicht, dass der Gute gar keine Lust hatte.
Dann: wenn Du in der Gegend BG2800.are bist und die Variable "Global("C#BrandockSpawn","GLOBAL")" abfragst über Cheats, auf was steht sie?
Die Cheateingabe ist (für die EE):
C:GetGlobal("C#BrandockSpawn","GLOBAL")

Wenn die nicht existiert, dann: bring mal Near Infinity bei Dir zum Laufen falls Du es noch nicht hast - das wirst Du eh noch brauchen... Und dort dann unter "bcs" den Inhalt der "BG2800.bcs" hier in einen Spoiler posten.

Ja, ich meinte Near Infinity braucht man wenn man BG spielt, vor allem mit Mods, nicht nur Brandock.

Mhm, ok.

Also ich hab das NearInfinity installiert. Und die Datai aus dem Override Ordner versucht zu öffnen. Ich kann dort dann aus einer Reihe von spielen auswählen, und wenn ich BG EET wähle, dann bekomme ich eine Fehlermeldung:

No Infinity Engine found.

Version ist die aktuellste aus dem Github.

Ist das die gesamte DEBUG? Es fehlt die Installation. Und die bcs enthält keine Inhalte von Brandock. Ich sehe bg1re und Ascalons Questpack, aber keinen brandock. Ist die weidu.log die Du an anderer Stelle gpostet hast wirklich deine aktuelle?

Jup, ist die Weidu aus meiner BG II EE Steam Installation. Und der Debug ist komplett.

Soll ich ihn testweise reinstallieren?

Entschuldige. Bei dem Brandock Debug ist was schiefgelaufen. Ich bin beimNotepad Öffnen scheinbar versehentlich auf Brage gekommen und hab dir das kopiert. Deinen Brandock hab ich scheinbar deinstalliert? Ohne das wirklich bewusst gemacht zu haben.

Ich blicke nicht durch... Irgendwie wurde eine Komponente deinstalliert und andere wieder installiert - was aber nur geht, wenn die Hauptkomponente installiert ist. :confused: Die DEBUG zeigt daher leider nicht mehr die Installation der Hauptkomponente.
Wenn sie zusätzlich als installiert in der weidu.log steht ist es wirklich seltsam. Gibt es denn Dateien mit dem Präfix C#BR, z.B. bei den cre-Dateien?

Mhm.

Gerade aufgefallen, als ich das Dragonspear UI deinstalliert habe und die EET_END. Kommt am ende immer dieser Fehler.

Ich glaub, icvh hab mir irgendwas zerschossen

@Myranon Ist wahrscheinlich etwas spät, aber mir fiel gerade auf, dass du die EET im Steam-Ordner hast laufen lassen. Ich würde immer empfehlen, eine modifizierte Version unter Benutzer, oder auf einer zweiten Festplatte durchzuführen. Zum einen um zu verhindern, dass Updates einem die Installation zerschießen, zum anderen um die Einflüsse Dritter möglichst auszuschließen. Sowohl Betriebssystem als auch Steam oder andere Dienstanbieter können dazwischen funken.

Danke für den Hinweis.

Ich hab glücklicherweise genügend Spielepartitionen. Eine Steam-SSD, 'ne große HDD als Ablage für Mod-Kram und noch ne M2. Da pack ich das einfach als separate Installation drauf.

Oho, ich glaube, so etwa nach zwei Stunden im Spiel nach dem Oghma-Tempel hat es bei Brandock doch noch so geklappt, dass der Autotext getriggert ist, dass er nun vielleicht Zauber ins Buch direkt schreiben könnte. :eek:
Ich frage mich, ob es auch daran liegt, dass man - zum Beispiel beim reisen - nicht länger als eine oder zwei Stunden unterwegs sein muss, weil sonst der Dialog als verpasst gilt? :confused:

Und ich konnte nochmal zwei Magier finden, in deren Zauberbücher Brandock schmökern könnte:

BG: Arlin (ein Mitglied der "Reißer des Unterbergs")
BG2: Mekrath (wenn man ihn bekämpft)
