[Installation] BiG World Project macht nichts

Hallo,

wenn ich das Big World Project installiere und ich ändere bei den mods nur das keine Begrenzungen bei Strongholds sein sollen, er installiert ja aber am ende ist im spiel nichts anders ich habe ja BG2 EE mit thron des bhaal und die schwertküste, außerdem sind Neera und solche NPCs als Mods vorinstalliert.

Wenn ich jetzt die einzelnen Setup Exen im BG2 Ordner ausführe installiert es die Mods jedoch, hängt sich das Spiel bei bestimmten Gebieten auf und wenn ich bei der neuen Weltkarte oben rechts gehe hängt sich das Spiel auch auf.

Hmm, also das BWP funktioniert nicht mit BG2EE...

Neera ist kein Mod sondern BG2EE Vanilla Content.

Welche Mods möchtest du den installieren?

Wie sieht deine Weidu.log aus?

Also einzelne Mods wie tweaks usw.. gehen ja, das reicht mir erstmal adalons blut usw.. hab ich noch drin.

Also nochmal: das BWP ist für BG2 und nicht die EE gemacht worden also funktionieren nur solche Mods, die "zufällig" auch für die EE angepasst worden sind. Große Quest-Mods und insbesondere BGT, der BG1 mit BG2 zusammen führt, funktionieren nicht und machen dann eben nüscht weil kein BG2 gefunden wird sondern BG2EE.

Das BiG World Project ist eine Sammlung von mehr als hundert Mods, mit denen man das klassische Baldur's Gate Spiel erweitern / modifizieren konnte.

Für die Enhanced Edition Spiele ist bisher nur ein kleiner Bruchteil dieser Mods portiert worden.

Cheats/BigWorldFixPack

hello I am mac from the United states (home of the crazy people :/ )

Anyways I am long time player of BG and I have just recently beat the game with a power group of 6

But id like to enjoy the game in other ways using the cheats=1 and Fixpack and patches available

Ive tried several times to get cheats to work with no success..but my immediate question is about the patches and fixpacks ( specifically the fix pack that allows casting spells while wearing armor..and the experience cap remover)

The big world fix pack I found needs winzip to open so I couldnt use it

I am VERY new to this type of gaming using alteration and would be greatful for any help

I have windows 7 and i do have saved games and exported characters saved

You need the mod BGT tweaks and you can do what you prefer!

You could start with installing winzip. Or 7zip, winrar, totalcommander or whatever. Or just use the windows integrated zip function.

What is the BGT tweeks you mentioned? Baldurs gate trilogy tweet pack? please dont use abbreviations i dont know what they mean

Its just confusing everything is abbrviated and theres several different patches and i dont know what goes with which version of baldurs gate lol

BWP Fixpack is 7z filetype, so why not use 7zip which invented the format and pay nothing?
Also fixes from fixpack should mostly fix errors and not mod the game so you can have more XP. So your approach is not going to work.
Get the BWP guide (PDF) and search for your tweaks and install those...

BWP... i goggled BWP and nothing about baldurs gate came up at first

I have no idea what that is there are 10 different versions of everything

a free version to open the file sounds great tho will def try that

Obviously I am not as well informed or tech savy as some of you..just basic PC working knowledge can you provide links for this stuff would be outstanding ( thankyou guys)

You post in a thread for Big World Project (BWP), so we (or at least I) had the impression that you played the game modded with some kind of BWP...

So either get the game guide by clicking on download on this site (upper part) or try the BWS (Big World Setup) from shsforums megamod section. You can also get more help in your native tongue visiting that forum.
